Max’s Mints aims to be MAXimally sustainable. To achieve this we work hard to understand and optimise each particular of the production process. Want to find out how we do that? Read on..!
The makers of Max’s Mints – Max’s father and his sister Floor – value more than just certification.
Which is why Max’s Mints are made from 100% natural ingredients, without any artificial food colourings, aromas or flavourings. Besides that you won’t find any weird ingredients in Max like synthetic sugars, stabilisers or gelatine. Lastly Max’s Mints are vegan as well as gluten and allergen free; making them eligible for all ‘free-from-foodies’!
Max’s Mints are packaged in a tin can and there’s a good reason for that. Did you know that tin can be infinitely recycled without any loss of quality? In Holland about 93% of all tin is seperated from other junk by large magnets, and recycled. The paper inlay in a tin can from Max is made from FSC certified paper. The Forest Stewardship Council sets standards for responsible forest management, and thereby uses the power of the marketplace to protect forests for future generations.
When the product and the package have been produced they arrive at a sheltered workshop to be packed. In the sheltered workshop people with employment challenges are given an opportunity to work and to contribute to society again!
